On Tuesday, Iranian Tasnim News Agency reported that President Ebrahim Raisi’s visit to Türkiye has been postponed, without providing details about the reason.

“The visit was scheduled to take place on Wednesday, but it was postponed to another date,” according to the Iranian Tasnim News Agency.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said earlier this month that Raisi would visit his country at the end of November for talks on Gaza.

Regarding the reason for postponing the visit, the Iranian president was supposed to attend during his visit to Türkiye, a public rally organized by Turkish public groups and non-governmental organizations, who invited him to attend the rally.

However, it was announced that the Turkish government canceled the permit to hold the rally, so that the presence of the Iranian president wouldn’t be possible, while he had agreed to hold it some time ago.

Thus, the Iranians decided to postpone the visit, for later time.

In the past two weeks, Erdogan has announced several times the Iranian president’s visit on November 28.

Iran Supreme Leader Khamenei recently said that Islamic countries must cut off their trade relations with Israel, and stated that Türkiye has the largest number of relations with Israel.
