The Guardian: Zelensky warns of Trump winning the presidency and abandoning Ukraine
The Guardian newspaper published an exclusive interview with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, warning that Donald Trump will win the US presidential election and abandon military support for Ukraine.
Trump vowed last year that if he beat Joe Biden, he would cut military support for Ukraine and end the war within 24 hours.
Trump confidants have also hinted at a plan he proposes to give the eastern regions of Ukraine to Russia, as well as Crimea, to end the armed conflict.
However, Zelensky stressed that his country won’t accept such a plan, nor is it subject to Russian pressure that is trying to force it to abandon the idea of integration into Europe and join NATO in the future.

The Ukrainian president revealed that the former British Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, tried to woo Trump to win his support for Ukraine.
