The death toll has risen to 31 Palestinians, as a result of Israeli airstrikes and gunfire targeting several areas in the Gaza Strip since dawn on Sunday, including children, women, and food seekers.

According to medical sources and eyewitnesses, the Israeli attacks targeted homes, tents housing displaced persons, and civilian gatherings, resulting in deaths and injuries in cities in the northern, central, and southern Gaza Strip.

In the latest attack, five Palestinians were killed and more than 15 others injured when Israeli gunfire targeted people waiting for aid in the Sudanese area west of Gaza City, bringing the death toll to 31 since the early hours of the morning.

This was preceded by the martyrdom of a Palestinian in a drone strike near al Saftawi roundabout north of Gaza City, in addition to the martyrdom of two Palestinians, one of them a child, in an attack targeting two homes belonging to the Shabat family in the al Tuffah neighborhood east of Gaza City.

In the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, an Israeli airstrike killed two Palestinians, including a child.

In al Bureij camp, a Palestinian was killed in an artillery attack targeting his home, coinciding with heavy shelling targeting the northern areas of the camp, causing extensive damage to citizens’ homes in the “Block 1” area.

In Rafah, in the south, six Palestinians were killed and dozens injured by Israeli army fire targeting a gathering of aid seekers near a distribution center affiliated with the Gaza Relief Foundation, according to a medical source at Nasser Hospital west of Khan Yunis.

As of Saturday, the number of Palestinian victims killed by Israel while attempting to reach food and aid distribution centers known as the “American-Israeli mechanism” had reached 450, with 3,466 injured, while 39 remain missing.

Beyond the supervision of the United Nations and international relief organizations, Tel Aviv began implementing a plan on May 27 to distribute limited aid through the so-called “Gaza Humanitarian Foundation,” which is supported by Israel and the United States but rejected by the United Nations.

In another attack, five Palestinians were killed when an Israeli aircraft bombed a tent housing displaced people in the Mawasi area west of Rafah.

The bodies of six other Palestinians arrived at Nasser Medical Complex following Israeli airstrikes on the town of Abasan al Kabira, east of Khan Yunis.

Also, the Israeli army also blew up residential buildings at an accelerated pace in Khan Yunis.
