The Associated Press: The US coalition began withdrawing equipment from Syria, however still no troops has left yet

Several media has announced that the US-led coalition has not yet begun withdrawing troops from Syria, but there is a withdrawal of equipment.

Associated Press tweeted that the delete a tweet that said “The US-led military coalition has begun withdrawing troops from Syria”, while “The operation began with the withdrawal of equipment, but no soldier has left yet.

Earlier on Friday, January 11, a spokesman for the International Coalition, the coalition began the process of withdrawal from Syria.

“We’re not going to announce timetables, locations or specific troop movements”, Colonel Sean Ryan was quoted by Reuters as saying.

US president Donald Trump announced on December 19, 2018, that his country had defeated ISIS in Syria, thanks to the presence of its troops there.
