The Ansar Allah group announces a successful carried out two military operations with drones targeting the cities of Jaffa and Eilat
The Yemeni Ansar Allah group (Houthis) announced on Tuesday that it had carried out two military operations with drones targeting the cities of Jaffa and Eilat in central Israel, noting that their goals were successfully achieved.
The Yemeni Ansar Allah military spokesman, Yahya Saree, said, “The Yemeni armed forces bombed a military target of the Israeli enemy in the occupied Jaffa area with a Jaffa drone”.
He added in a televised statement, “We targeted military targets in the Umm al-Rashrash (Eilat) area with four Samad 4 drones.”
Saree continued, “We salute the mujahideen in Palestine and Lebanon for defending the nation against the Israeli-American aggression and its plans aimed at subjugating all countries and peoples”.
In solidarity with Gaza, which has been facing a devastating Israeli war since October 7, 2023, the group targeted Israeli or Israeli-linked cargo ships in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea with missiles and drones.
With the intervention of Washington and London through a coalition that launched strikes on the group’s sites in Yemen, and the tension taking an escalating direction last January,
Ansar Allah announced that it now considers all American and British ships among its military targets.
Recently, the group said it would expand strikes to include enemy-linked vessels passing through the Indian Ocean via the Cape of Good Hope route.
