
A field source confirmed that the Syrian security services started receiving the districts of Ashrafiyeh, Sheikh Maksoud and the youth housing north of Aleppo city on Sunday from the Kurdish People’s Protection Units.
Sources close to the leadership of the “Kurdish units” in the city of Qamishli revealed to the Russian news agency “Sputnik” to reach an agreement on the return of full coordination between the leadership of the “units” with the Syrian state, in all areas of control “SDF” north and northeast of Syria, under full Russian auspices.
The sources pointed out that after several meetings between the two parties in the past days in Damascus and Qamishli, the Russian delegation left Qamishli airport accompanied by a delegation from the command of “units” described as first-class officials to the Russian base of Hmeimim on the Syrian coast, where a meeting was held for long hours on Sunday ended with the initial agreement on full coordination between the two parties in order to allow the agreement to rearrange matters in all areas of northern Syria, starting from the city of Manbij in Aleppo countryside, in preparation for the restoration of Syrian state control over all areas controlled by the Kurds.
A field source confirmed that units of the Syrian army are now heading to the city of Ain Al Arab on the Syrian-Turkish border, in preparation for deployment in the city and its surroundings and raising the Syrian flag above its institutions.
The source added that the Syrian army units will arrive in the city with full military equipment on Monday morning.
The city of Ain Al Arab is located northeast of the city of Manbij on the banks of the Euphrates River, about 30 kilometers east of the city of Jarablus, which is a frontier stronghold of the “Turkmen” armed groups loyal to Turkey.
