On Sunday night, the Israeli Air Force bombed military targets in southern Syria.

According to Israeli media, including Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper, the Israeli Air Force bombed military targets in southern Syria, in response to the launching of a rocket towards the Golan Heights earlier on Sunday.

An Israeli army spokesman said, “An Israeli army fighter plane attacked the launch pads from which missiles were launched from Syrian territory towards Israeli territory last night”.

The Syrian media reported that Israel launched air strikes at dawn on Monday targeting two military sites in the Dara’a Governorate in the south of the country.

According to the Syrian official news agency, “SANA” quoted a military source as saying, “The Israeli enemy carried out an air attack from the direction of the occupied Syrian Golan, targeting two positions of our armed forces in the Dara’a countryside, which led to some material losses”.
