The artisanal sector in Syria is preparing to open an outlet for its products to Europe through the Republic of Abkhazia, where owners, head of this sector are preparing to participate in the Abkhazian tourism forum which will be held under the auspices of the Abkhazia Chamber of Commerce and Industry on 19-21 of November 2018.
The head of the Federation of Craft Associations in Damascus, Essam Al Zibaq, said that this participation comes within the context of the joint cooperation between the Republic of Abkhazia and Syria.

Cultural and Information Director of the Craftsmen owners Central Council Adnan Tunbakji said that the area allocated to the Syrian pavilion is 150 m2, and will display about 33 handicrafts, “Mosaics – Arabesque – handmade items” etc…
He pointed out that the elders of this sector and craftsmen received many certificates of excellence in their participation In the international exhibitions, including certificates of excellence for the first position in Russia, India and Algeria in 2018, and a certificate of excellence in Algeria in 2017, and added that the participation of Syria in this forum comes within the framework of action towards the activation of the wheel of production and the impact on the national economy, especially as the Republic of Abkhazia is a destination For European tourists, which facilitates the flow of the outcome of the Syrian craft products to European markets.
