Syrian diplomatic commissions world wide rising Syria revolution flag
The flag of the Syrian revolution was raised on Monday over the Syrian embassy in Moscow, one day after the fall of President Bashar al Assad’s rule after a lightning attack carried out by opposition factions.
A group of men stood on the embassy balcony, chanting and clapping as they raised the flag bearing three red stars.
In Spain, about 150 people chanted “Freedom!” when a man at the Syrian embassy in Madrid threw the Assad government flag to the ground and raised the opposition’s black, green and white three-star flag.
In Greece, opposition supporters entered the Syrian embassy in Athens and raised the flag on the roof of the building.
Police then entered and arrested four people but left the flag up.
In Serbia, joy prevailed among a number of opposition supporters who gathered in front of the Syrian embassy in the capital, Belgrade, hugging each other and raising the revolution flag on a pole in the embassy courtyard.
In Sweden, local TV4 reported that the Syrian Revolution Flag with its three colors was raised at the Syrian embassy in Stockholm.
In Britain, people gathered waving the flag of the Syrian revolution in front of the Syrian embassy in London.
