Local Syrian sources reported that an Israeli force accompanied by armored vehicles penetrated into Syrian territory near the town of Qodana, in the southern Quneitra countryside, where it bulldozed some agricultural land there.

The sources explained that the bulldozing process took place over a 500-meter stretch with a width of another 1,000 meters, and then it was annexed to the Israeli side by placing barbed wire.

The incursion and bulldozing operation are part of the Sufa 53 Road project that Israel began working on two years ago.

According to the source, it’s located to the east of the UNDOF 1974 line, which is the demilitarized zone supervised by the United Nations, i.e. within the areas controlled by the Syrian government and close to the concentration of its forces.
