Steve Witkoff: A countries that no one would have guessed will soon join the Abraham Accords!

US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff said that President Donald Trump has made expanding the Abraham Accords one of his main goals in the Middle East, noting the possibility of new Arab countries joining the agreement soon.
In an interview with CNBC, Witkoff explained that the US administration is seeking to normalize relations between Israel and Arab countries that may not have been on the table before, which could contribute to enhancing regional stability and expanding economic and political cooperation.
The Abraham Accords are among the most prominent foreign policy achievements of Trump’s first term, as 2020 saw the UAE, Bahrain, and Morocco sign agreements to normalize relations with Israel, followed by Sudan in 2021.
Witkoff previously hinted at the possibility of Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Libya, and Syria joining the agreement, which would represent a major shift in the diplomatic landscape in the region if it materializes.
