St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) 2019
The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum will be held on June 6-8, which is a unique event in the world of business and economics.
The forum has been held since 1997, and since 2006, it has been held under the auspices of the President of the Russian Federation, who has also attended each event.
Over the last 21 years, the Forum has become a leading global platform for members of the business community to meet and discuss the key economic issues facing Russia, emerging markets, and the world as a whole.
The Forum will take place at the ExpoForum Convention and Exhibition Centre.

It worth mentioning, that Roscongress Foundation is a socially oriented non-financial development institution and a major organizer of international conventions, exhibitions, and public events.
The Roscongress Foundation was founded in 2007 with the aim of facilitating the development of Russia’s economic potential, promoting its national interests, and strengthening the country’s image.
One of the roles of the Foundation is to comprehensively evaluate, analyze, and cover issues on the Russian and global economic agendas.
It also offers administrative services, provides promotional support for business projects and attracting investment, and helps foster social entrepreneurship and charitable initiatives.
The Foundation’s events draw more than 80,000 participants each year from 195 countries, with more than 10,000 media representatives working on-site at Roscongress’ various venues.
The Foundation benefits from analytical and professional expertise provided by 2,500 people working in Russia and abroad.
In addition, it works in close cooperation with economic partners from 75 countries worldwide.
The forum catch the interest by the global business community, heads of international organizations, officials, experts, scientists, and the media in the Forum grows every year, as does the number of countries from which participants are drawn.
As the last year, which was devoted to the key theme of ‘Building a Trust Economy’, brought together more than 17,000 participants from 143 countries.
Attendees included more than 200 heads of major foreign companies and 700 heads of Russian companies.
Over 150 business events were held at the Forum venue as part of the main SPIEF programme, split across four thematic blocks: Technology for Leadership, Harnessing Russia’s Growth Potential, Human Capital in the Digital Economy, and The Global Economy in an Era of Change.
The Forum included bilateral business dialogues (Russia–France, Russia–Japan) involving the respective heads of state, a conversation between Russian President Vladimir Putin and the heads of international news agencies, a meeting with heads of international companies, events at the International Youth Economic Forum, and a session of the International Valdai Discussion Club.
A special event for SPIEF 2018 was a B20 Regional Consultation Forum.
The SPIEF programme also incorporated more than 60 cultural programme events, as well as sporting programme events, including competitions in ten disciplines and the traditional corporate games held under the Roscongress Sport Club brand.
An important innovation at SPIEF 2018 was the large-scale inclusion of a social agenda in the Forum programme and the launch of the Roscongress Foundation’s social platform.
St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2019 participants will be able to choose from two participation packages:
