Saudi Arabia denies reports about the reopening of its embassy in Damascus

Syrializm as several media outlets published news about the reopening of the Saudi embassy in Damascus, while an official Saudi statement denied the news.
Saudi Arabia has no intention to reopen its embassy in Damascus, which was closed in March 2012.
The news about the reopening of the embassy was denied by an official source at the Saudi Foreign Ministry in a statement published by the official Saudi Press Agency (SPA) on Monday.
The statement said that the statement attributed to the new Foreign Minister Ibrahim Al Assaf about the opening of the Saudi embassy in Damascus, “is not true”.
