Russian Military police prevented a US convoy from entering the Syrian city of Al Qamishli
The Russian military police prevented a patrol of US armed forces accompanied by a “pickup” car belonging to the “SDF” from entering the city of Al Qamishli in northeastern Syria.
The Russian military police armored vehicles crossed the (Al Qamishli – Al Qahtaniyah – Al Rumailan) road at Al Tannuriya village (10 km east of the city of Al Qamishli, north of Al Hasakah governorate) for the first time, as it prevented a US forces patrol from entering the city of Al Qamishli through its entrance Eastern for several hours.
The reporter added that more than 8 Russian armored vehicles, while returning from a regular patrol in the town of Al Qahtaniyah under the control of the “SDF” organization, intercepted the convoy of the American patrol and prevented it from entering Al Qamishli for several hours, in response to the objection of American armored vehicles to the Russian armored vehicles in the town of Al Qahtaniyah.
In the context, it is mentioned that during the past months, elements of the Syrian Army and the people of the villages neighboring Al Qamishli and Al Hasakah have fought a large number of American military convoys who tried to cross from their villages, and forced them to withdraw and retreat to the place they came from.
