Russian National Defense Center announced today, Friday, that a Russian Air Force fighter plane flew to intercept American B-52N bombers over the Sea of ​​Okhotsk, noting that American aircraft did not violate the Russian border.

In a statement to the National Defense Center, “On June 19, two B-52B bombers of the United States Air Force were discovered and escorted by air defenses of the eastern military zone that performed their duty in the neutral waters of the Sea of ​​Okhotsk,” according to Russian “Sputnik” news agency.

The statement continued: “At a great distance from the borders of the Russian state, the aircraft of the American Air Force were constantly escorted by Russian observation devices”.

It is noteworthy that the “Su-27” aircraft had intercepted several days ago, US bombers “B-52H” and surveillance and reconnaissance planes over the international waters of the Baltic Sea, and Russian fighters flew to track them over the Baltic Sea.
