The Russian appointed as acting Governor of Zaporizhia region, Yevgeny Balitsky, said on Wednesday, that Western military equipment provided to Ukrainian forces are nothing but scrap junk.
“As for the equipment active work, their performance was very low,” Palitsky told the Russian TV Channel One.
Balitsky added that, “their stories praising the beauty and power of their drones and the German cannons—these are just junk in every sense of the word, at least no better than Soviet tanks, even badly painted… Western heavy equipment is mainly designed for defense and fighting in the desert, not for attack, and it also malfunctions when mines explode”.
He said that the Russian armed forces continue to implement the military operation to disarm Ukraine, and to ward off threats emanating from Ukrainian territory to Russia’s security.
