Russia discusses the use and trade with Chinese and Turkish national currencies

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov announced that he discussed in New Delhi with the foreign ministers of Türkiye, China and Brazil the transition to settlements in national currencies and the use of new supply chains.
The Russian Foreign Minister said in a press conference after the G20 summit: “We discussed with the foreign ministers of China and Türkiye, as well as the Brazilian foreign minister, the transition to new supply chains that will be protected from the arbitrariness of the West, and from sanctions and other illegal measures, and the transition to settlements in national currencies regarding gross violations, which the Americans allow as exporters of dollars, and the European Union as exporters of Euros, and the Japanese also abuse the yen”.
On Thursday, the Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov held a press conference, following his meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi.
Lavrov is on a two-day official visit to India within the framework of the G20 Forum, where he held talks with his Indian counterpart Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu, as well as other senior diplomats.
