Russia confirms that training Ukrainians to operate Patriot systems confirms the US involvement in the war
The Russian ambassador to Washington, Anatoly Antonov, considered that the decision of the US Department of Defense to train the Ukrainian army to operate Patriot missile defense systems confirms the involvement of the United States in the conflict in Ukraine.
Antonov told reporters while commenting on the upcoming training course in the United States for Ukrainian soldiers to operate Patriot missile defense systems: “The decision of the US military administration to organize a training course in Fort Sill in Oklahoma is another confirmation of Washington’s active participation in the Ukrainian conflict on the side of the Nazi criminals from Kyiv”.
Earlier, the Pentagon said that training of Ukrainian forces on the Patriot missile system would begin later this month, and that Washington was considering bringing the Ukrainians to the United States to train on the Patriot systems, in addition to considering training abroad or a combination of the two.
