Putin: The enemies are striving to destabilize Russia

The Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the enemies are striving to destabilize Russia and asked the Cabinet not to allow this under any circumstances.
He added that the Russian Security Council would discuss ways to achieve security in the country in the context of what he said were very important issues related to relations between the country’s 190 ethnic groups.
“Today we will also discuss these issues in terms of ensuring Russia’s security, in this case domestic political security,” he said.
Russia has intensified its crackdown on dissent since sending tens of thousands of troops to Ukraine in February 2022.
Putin has repeatedly called on Russians to stand together against existential threats posed by the West, but he has sometimes faced hostility from ethnic groups who feel they are particularly targeted by Moscow’s mobilization efforts.
