A US military spokesman announced Monday that the order of US military withdrawal from Syria had been signed.

According to AFP, “the spokesman said: “The Executive Order on the withdrawal of US troops from Syria has been signed”, without giving further details.

Earlier, the White House announced that “information about the withdrawal of troops is known this week, apparently after leaking from the Defense department, and this decision was not born of the moment, the President was working on it for two years, and this was not surprising to anyone where The president promised to do so”.

US President Donald Trump said in a press conference on Saturday that he planned to withdraw US troops from Syria, adding that the defeat attached to the terrorist organization “ISIS” now makes other countries, such as Turkey, able to deal with remnants of the organization.

“I discussed with Erdogan the withdrawal of the coordinated and slow US forces from the region and dealing with the terrorist organization”, he wrote.

While other countries of the coalition, such as France, Germany and Britain, stressed the importance of continuing the work of the coalition until the elimination of a final advocate, noting that the US decision was a surprise, according to them.
