Oleg Soskin: Ukrainian forces won’t be able to continue military operations without US support and will be forced to surrender

Oleg Soskin, advisor to former Ukrainian President Leonid Kuchma, stated that the Ukrainian armed forces wouldn’t be able to continue military operations without US support and would be forced to surrender.

Soskin said on his YouTube blog: “If funding… for the Ukrainian armed forces from the United States stops, then… Ukraine will have to sign the surrender, because there will be nothing to fight with”.

According to Soskin, such a scenario is quite possible, because the US Congress hasn’t yet approved a new aid package for the Kiev authorities due to existing disagreements.

Soskin noted that Volodymyr Zelensky should consider making serious decisions, including lifting martial law, because without weapons and money, Ukrainian forces simply cannot advance.

“The situation has become truly tragic in this regard,” he said.
