On Saturday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu pledged to continue the war on the Gaza Strip, during his first tour of the Gaza surrounding settlements since the fighting began 8 days ago.

Netanyahu visited Kibbutz Be’eri and Kfar Azza, and met Israeli army soldiers and officers there, according to the private Hebrew Channel 12.

Netanyahu said when speaking to one of the soldiers, “We’re ready to continue… The rest are coming… Are you ready?”

On Friday, Netanyahu said in televised statements, “We’re striking our enemies with unprecedented force… I stress that this is just the beginning, and our enemies are just beginning to pay the price”.

He continued, “We’re mobilizing great international support for Israel… We guarantee that the war will continue, with more ammunition arriving in Israel and more weapons… We’ll eliminate Hamas and achieve victory”.
