Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu today sent a warning message to Syrian President Bashar al Assad.

During a press conference in Jerusalem with the US Special Envoy on Iran, Brian Hook, Netanyahu expressed Tel Aviv’s intention to prevent Iran from a military positioning in Syria, stressing that Israel “has repeatedly taken strong military measures against Iran and its allies in Syria and other places”.

Netanyahu addressed “the mullahs of Tehran” by saying that Israel will continue to take these measures “as necessary to prevent you from establishing another terrorist front and another army operating against Israel in Syria”.

He continued: “As I say to Bashar al Assad: You risk the future of your country and your system.

Israel will not allow Iran to establish its military presence in Syria.
