Moscow refuses to sign Trump a decree allowing the United States to extract space resources and spurring private institutions to work in space research

Russia has confirmed its refusal to sign the US President, Donald Trump, a decree allowing the extraction of space resources and stimulating private institutions to work in space research.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Tuesday that attempts to “privatize” space in one form or another would be totally unacceptable.
He pointed out that this issue needs to be studied from a legal point of view.
On Monday, the US President signed a decree to allow the extraction of space resources and to motivate private institutions to work in space research.
The presidential decree issued on April 6 aims to strengthen international support for the extraction and use of space resources, including water and minerals, to support space initiatives and research.
