German Chancellor Angela Merkel announced today, Saturday, that the vaccines against the emerging Coronavirus, which the European Union is developing, will be available in all parts of the world.

Merkel said in a statement, today, Saturday, published on the official government website, that it is “how to develop vaccines, medicines and good diagnostic options for all people around the world,” noting that Germany “bears this responsibility”.

She explained that about eight billion euros are still not sufficient to develop the vaccine, stressing that Germany “will make a significant financial contribution” in this work.

The consultant welcomed the participation of private foundations, vaccine and drug manufacturers, and basic alliances such as the Epidemic Preparedness Alliance, the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization, as well as government partnerships, in this activity.

Merkel added that Germany also intends to “work closely with the World Health Organization, which plays a major role in this”.

The German Chancellor, Angela Merkel, and other leaders of the European Union, earlier, called for raising funds worth 7.5 billion euros to develop vaccines and medicines against the emerging Coronavirus.
