Khamenei: The battle has begun!
Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei published a tweet early Wednesday morning announcing the start of the battle.
Khamenei, “The battle has begun!”
Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei wrote on X in Arabic, “In the name of Haider al Jabbar, the battle begins”.
He added, “Ali returns to Khaybar with Dhu al Fiqar”.
Khamenei stressed that “the Islamic Republic will never compromise with the Zionists”.
Iran’s Supreme Leader said in a post on X, “We must deal forcefully with the terrorist Zionist entity”.
Ali Khamenei added, “We’ll never compromise with the Zionists”.
On Monday, Khamenei posted on X, confirming that victory over Israel is imminent.
Ali Khamenei said, “Victory from God and a near conquest”.
He added, “God willing, the Islamic Republic will triumph over the Zionist entity”.
Earlier, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated during an interview with ABC News that he didn’t rule out the possibility of assassinating Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
Netanyahu indicated that targeting Iran’s Supreme Leader would end the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran, which erupted late last week, and would not lead to an escalation.
Asked by ABC News about reports that US President Donald Trump rejected an Israeli plan to assassinate Iran’s Supreme Leader for fear of escalating the conflict, Netanyahu said, “This won’t escalate the conflict, but will end it”.
Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz also warned Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, saying, “He would do well to remember the fate of the dictator in Iran’s neighboring country,” referring to the late Iraqi President Saddam Hussein.
