Italy records the lowest number of cases and deaths in Coronavirus since March

Italy recorded, on Sunday, the lowest number of new cases and deaths of the new Coronavirus emerging from early March, at a time when Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte said he may take the next step in easing the national closure ahead of schedule.
On Sunday, Bloomberg News quoted civil protection authorities as saying that 802 cases had been recorded in the past 24 hours, the lowest rate since March 6, compared to 1,083 cases the previous day.
The total number of confirmed cases is currently 219 thousand and 70 cases.
The number of deaths on a daily basis has also decreased to 165, the lowest since 9 March, compared to 194 on Saturday, bringing the total to 30,560 deaths since the start of the pandemic in late February.
