Israeli special forces disguised as women assassinated the leader of the “Nasser Salah al Din Brigades” Ahmed Sarhan, and kidnapped his wife and children in Khan Yunis.

Ahmed Sarhan’s body arrived at Nasser Hospital, while sources reported that the occupation army had kidnapped his wife and children.

Israeli media confirmed that the Israeli army assassinated Ahmed Sarhan, a leader in the Nasser Salah al Din Brigades—the military wing of the Popular Resistance Committees—during the Khan Yunis operation.

According to Israeli Walla website quoted a security source as saying that the operation took place within the past few hours.

Israeli Channel 12 reported that the operation wasn’t aimed at liberating prisoners, without clarifying the nature of the mission or its direct objectives.

Israeli military operations began at night, following the redeployment of a number of Israeli army units to the eastern regions, in preparation for a prisoner release operation according to a pre-planned plan.

In the early morning hours, the operation was launched by a special unit that infiltrated an unidentified civilian bus, camouflaged to look like a vehicle for displaced persons, and loaded with food supplies typically used for displacement.

The force stationed inside was dressed as women to disguise themselves, in an attempt to approach a location believed to contain a prominent figure known by the initials (A.S.) who was classified as one of the prisoners’ “jailers”.

However, the force was quickly exposed, leading to violent clashes that nearly resulted in heavy casualties.

Despite this, the unit managed to neutralize the target, which was followed by the kidnapping of several members of his family, including his wife and children, for use in intelligence investigations.

Following this, the Israeli army quickly cut off the supply lines that the resistance had previously prepared to secure the site, with the aim of isolating the force and preventing any potential interference or support.

According to Israeli sources, as the situation on the ground deteriorated and clashes escalated, Israeli warplanes intervened and carried out a series of complex airstrikes to secure the withdrawal of the special forces and cover their safe exit from the area.
