Israeli aircraft bomb a research center affiliated with the Syrian Army in Hama

Israeli warplanes bombed a practical research center in the central Syrian province of Hama Thursday evening.
Sources close to the Syrian government forces told Deutsche Presse-Agentur that “Israeli warplanes bombed the Al Zawy Research Center in Masyaf area in the western Hama countryside, and there are casualties among the center’s members”.
The sources added that “several Israeli warplanes bombed an area of Lebanese airspace and returned to the occupied Palestinian territories”.
The Syrian News Agency (SANA) said, “Our air defense media is responding to Israeli aggression in the atmosphere of Masyaf in Hama countryside”.
Syrian military sites in the western countryside of Hama were subjected to several raids by Israeli warplanes, the most prominent of which were raids on the Nahr Al Bared area 60 km northwest of Hama Governorate, which is the headquarters of the Iranian forces at the end of April 2018.
For its part, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that an air strike launched by Israel on the countryside of Hama Governorate, located in northwestern Syria, late Thursday, resulted in the death of at least nine people.
The London-based Syrian Observatory said that four Syrians were among the martyrs.
It is not yet known whether they are members of the Syrian government forces or Iranian forces.
The observatory added that the number of martyrs is likely to rise, as there are others wounded and their condition is serious.
He said that the attack destroyed weapons depots in Al Zawy countryside in Masyaf countryside, west of Hama.
There was no immediate comment from Israel.
