Israeli Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon signed a decree removing Iraq from Israel’s “states enemy” list by the end of next March.

The Israeli news website “I24 News” that the decree signed by Kahlon stipulates that Iraq will be dealt with until March 31 as “not an enemy within the meaning required within the commercial order”.

It should be noted that the list of enemy states under Israeli law includes Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, Iran and Saudi Arabia.

This move came after the disclosure of the Israeli Foreign Ministry on January 6, the secret visits of three Iraqi delegations to Israel last year.

Following the arrival of information on visits by Iraqi delegations to Israel, Iraqi Parliament Speaker Mohamed Halabousi instructed the formation of a committee to investigate the information.
