Israel Today: Yahya Sinwar taught Israel two extremely important security lessons and brought it the greatest catastrophe since its establishment
According to an article by Yoav Limor, on Israel Today newspaper, that Yahya Sinwar is the one who brought the greatest catastrophe upon Israel since its establishment.
Limor explained that Sinwar taught Israel two very important lessons, the first of which is to not judge the enemy based on its words, but rather on its capabilities, and never underestimate it.
The second lesson is that the fighters in Gaza, who wear sandals, turned out to be trained, dangerous, and, most importantly, smart fighters.
Limor’s remarks come after Israeli reserve Major General Israel Ziv asserted a few days ago that Hamas operates more intelligently than Israel.
According to the Israeli General, who previously served as head of the IDF’s Operations Division, added that Hamas is waging guerrilla warfare, while Israel is still stuck in a maneuver, and this is working against it.
In turn, Knesset member Gadi Eisenkot said, “The basic principles of Israel’s national security doctrine collapsed on October 7, in the greatest failure since the establishment of Israel”.
