According to the Israeli Kan TV channel, disagreements had broken out between Israel and the United States regarding concessions to the Palestinians.

In light of the normalization talks between Israel and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, a dispute arose within the US administration regarding Israel’s demands related to the Palestinian issue.

A diplomatic moves began prior to the visit of US Secretary of State Antony Blinken to the region, a visit that is expected to address the issue of normalizing relations between Israel and Saudi Arabia.

The differences in positions within the US administration revolve around the size and nature of the concessions that Israel will have to offer to the Palestinians.

There are sufficient demands to instill hope, while others from the US administration say that more important steps are necessary.

Some members of the Democratic Party called for important steps to be taken, and despite the ongoing controversy within the US administration, President Biden’s administration makes it clear that Israel will have to take steps before the Palestinian Authority, within the normalization deal.

On the other hand, Israel says, ‘that it’s not ready to agree to radical concessions,’ but rather only prepared to provide facilitations to the Palestinian Authority.
