Israel no longer dared to attack Syria after it received the S-300
Contra magazine has confirmed that Israel has not launched a single attack on Syria since Syria took over the S-300 missiles after the crash of the Russian Il-20 during an Israeli raid on Latakia last September.
The German magazine said that since the Syrian air defense was accidentally dropped by the Russian “Il-20” aircraft, which was accompanied by Israeli launchers while raiding targets in the Syrian city of Latakia, Israel did not dare to conduct one independent military operation in Syria.
The magazine stressed that Israel has not dared to attack Syria since then, although repeatedly stated that the emergence of Russian anti-aircraft systems “S-300” in the region, will not stop them from bombing Syria!
However, since the incident of the Il-20 Russian airliner, the Israeli media have not mentioned one of these attacks, which Tel Aviv used to repeat periodically, and have covered such incidents in detail before.
At the same time, according to Contra, talking about the fact that the Israeli Air Force continues to attack Syria, and that the media simply stop writing and photographing reports of these attacks, can be practically ruled out.
However, the Israeli authorities claimed that they carried out similar attacks against targets in Syria, but only after informing Russia in advance.
The Russian leadership has announced earlier that it is working to re-develop and modernize the Syrian army after the years of war, which has been largely depleted.
The Air Defense Force is one of those forces, which Russia is working to modernize in Syria now.
In addition to supplying Syria with the S-300 system and training Syrian cadres to manage and operate, Russia is providing the Syrian army with additional air defense systems with various monitoring and jamming systems, including what has been recently reported.
Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Major General Igor Konashnikov announced that the S-300 air defense system and the Poliana D-4 air defense control and control system had been dispatched.
The Poliana-D4 system is an automatic control system for the combat operations of the missile brigade, which includes S-300 and Bock air defense systems.
The system was developed at the Institute for Research and Studies of Automated Mechanics in the Ministry of the Soviet Radio Industry.
The main designer of the system is Borlakov.
The system was introduced between June 29, 1977 and August 27, 1981.
The service of the Soviet army began in 1986.
The Poliana-D4 system includes a Command and Control Center for the Brigade, a Command and Staff Vehicle for the Brigade, a Jeep and technical services, two ED-T400-1RM diesel power stations.
The system is capable of handling 500 targets and accompanying 255 of them, including 20 channels to send data at speeds up to 32 Kbps.
