Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian delivered a speech on the occasion of “Ten Dawns”, the period before the anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution, in which he asserted that “the enemy seeks to turn the protests into a civil war in Iran”.

In his speech, Pezeshkian accused US President Donald Trump, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and European countries of arming some individuals during the recent developments.

“Everyone knows that Trump, Netanyahu and the Europeans have armed people during the recent events,” he explained.

He added that in “any social protest, no weapons are taken, military forces aren’t targeted, ambulances or markets are not burned… The enemy is working to turn the protests into a civil war”.

On the other hand, the Iranian president stressed his government’s readiness for dialogue, saying, “It’s our duty to listen to the words and demands of the protesters and their concerns and work to resolve them, and we are ready to listen”.
