Iranian Army: Our message to America and its allies is clear: We’ll not allow any attack on our territorial integrity to go unanswered no matter the circumstances

Iran announced that targeting the US base in Qatar was a clear message to the United States and its allies that Iran won’t allow any attack on its territorial integrity, sovereignty, or national security to go unanswered, no matter the circumstances.

This came in a statement by the Iranian army broadcast on Iranian state television on Monday, following the targeting of the US Al Udeid base in Qatar.

The statement read, “The attack is a clear message to the White House and its allies… Iran relies on God Almighty and the loyal Iranian people”.

For its part, the White House announced that its closely monitoring, along with the US Department of Defense, the Iranian attack on Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar.

A senior White House official told media outlets that they are aware of potential threats to Al Udeid Air Base and are closely monitoring the situation.

Earlier, the US embassy in Qatar called on its citizens to head to shelters and safe places after Iran announced it had targeted Al Udeid Air Base with missiles.

The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced in a statement earlier on Monday the temporary suspension of air traffic in the country.

The US Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar is one of the largest military bases in the Middle East, housing 8,000 US troops.

In addition to Al Udeid Air Base, the United States has approximately 40,000 troops at military bases in various parts of the Middle East.

On Monday evening, Iranian state television reported the launch of a military operation targeting the US Al Udeid base in Qatar.
