Iran said that it executed 4 people on charges of working with Mossad
Iranian media reported that 4 people, whom it described as saboteurs, linked to the Israeli intelligence service, were executed.
According to the Iranian judiciary, the authorities executed three men and a woman, Friday, after the condemned with their links to the Israeli intelligence service, Mossad.
On Friday morning, four members of a sabotage group linked to the Zionist entity were executed, and they committed large-scale acts against the country’s security under the guidance of Mossad officials,” according to Iranian official statement.
The investigation stated that Israeli Mossad officers were directing members of this group directly to identify those collaborating with the security departments in Iran, and were kidnapping, threatening, and beating them to obtain information from them, according to the statement.
On several occasions, members of the group set fire to the homes and cars of some individuals associated with Iranian security institutions, and received money after submitting photos documenting their actions and sending them to Mossad officers.
The report also stated that several other people – working with the same group – were sentenced to 10 years in prison, without providing further details.
Thus, the number of people executed in Iran this December, due to their association with Mossad, rose to 5, as Tehran had executed on the 16th of this month an agent of the Israeli intelligence service.
The Iranian news agency “IRNA” said at the time, “This person communicated with foreign agencies, including the Mossad, and collected secret information, and in cooperation with accomplices, he submitted documents to foreign agencies, including the Mossad”.
