The Iranian TV broadcast the first footage showing the new Paveh winged missile, which has a speed exceeding Mach 13, and a range of 1,650 km.

The Iranian Revolutionary Guard said, “The naming of this missile came after the name of the martyrs who were martyred in the Iranian province of Kurdistan, noting that one of its most important characteristics is that it cannot be tracked by the enemy’s missile defense systems.

Iranian television also published scenes showing Shahed 149 (Gaza) drone, which is one of the most strategic drones manufactured by Iran.

The Iranian TV announced that the Shahid 149 (Gaza) drone which has a wingspan of 21 meters and a flight altitude of 10,668 meters.

The Shahid 149 drone is an unmanned capable of carrying a load weighing 500 kg and flying at a speed of 350 km/h, and capable to fly up to 35 hours, which is one of the reasons for the high operational capacity of this drone.

Iran also announced that it had produced a hypersonic missile that could target US warships at a distance of nearly 2,000 km.

According to statements reported by the Iranian Tasnim news agency, Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh, commander of the Aerospace Force of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, said that his country has become able to target US warships at a distance of nearly 2,000 km, saying: The US fleet in the Indian Ocean and Bahrain, the Red and Mediterranean Within our missile range.

Zadeh pointed out that not exceeding this range is out of consideration for the Europeans, who must also maintain respect for themselves.

Regarding the specifications of the Iranian missile, he said: “The engine of the Iranian hypersonic missile is activated when it approaches a distance of 400-500 kilometers from the target, and this missile’s systems enable it to target any point it wants, and its speed exceeds Mach 13”.

He explained that this missile has the ability to maneuver outside the atmosphere and move in different directions, and it has an engine that starts working when it approaches the target at a distance of 300, 400 or 500 kilometers.

The Iranian military official hinted that the most important characteristics of the hypersonic missile is that it cannot be tracked by the enemy’s missile defense systems.

Zadeh stressed that the enemies cannot manufacture a similar missile even after several decades.

He explained, “Due to the hypersonic missile’s exit from the atmosphere, we are looking for a way to unveil it, and if the Americans don’t trust this, then that isn’t important, on the day of the confrontation, things will become clear”.

Iran had announced last November that it had completed, for the first time, the manufacture of a hypersonic ballistic missile capable of maneuvering, thus joining the list of countries that announced that they had developed this technology.
