Iran-Israel latest developments: 3 dead and 91 injured in six waves of Iranian missiles that struck Israel
Three Israelis were killed and 91 others were injured in six waves of Iranian missile attacks that have hit Israel since Friday evening.
In the latest developments, the Israeli Broadcasting Authority reported that two Israelis were killed and 21 others were injured, three of them seriously, as a result of Iranian missiles that hit several buildings in southern Tel Aviv (central) during the fourth, fifth, and sixth waves of bombing.
This was preceded by the injury of seven Israelis in the third wave of Iranian shelling that targeted central Israel.
Channel 12 reported that an Israeli woman was killed when an Iranian missile fell in central Israel during the first wave of bombing.
Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper reported that at least 63 Israelis were injured and taken to several hospitals as a result of the first and second waves of shelling.
Iranian forces shot down Israeli drones on Saturday on a spying mission in the northwest of the country, state television reported.
Iranian state television reported that Iranian forces managed to shoot down Israeli drones that violated the country’s airspace, adding that the drones entered Iranian airspace on espionage and reconnaissance missions.
In Tehran, local media reported an explosion near Mehrabad Airport in the west of the capital on Saturday morning.
Earlier, loud explosions were heard in other parts of the capital, while the official IRNA news agency reported the activation of air defenses to counter new Israeli strikes.
