Iran: A new security apparatus is tasked with hunting Mossad spies
Security observers expect that an intelligence and security war began as soon as the ceasefire was announced between Iran and Israel.
The Iranian leadership, in cooperation with Chinese and Russian intelligence agencies in particular, is on its way to uncovering the full details of the internal Iranian spy network that penetrated Iran during the war and at its beginning.
The discussion here concerns the formation of a new security apparatus in Tehran whose mission is to hunt down and completely eliminate spies, placing them within the jurisdiction of the judiciary, interrogation centers, and prisons, where suspicions of a complete logistical infrastructure of local and foreign personnel have succeeded in forming an incubator for espionage and war against the republic.
An Iranian court swiftly sentenced four spies to death few days ago, and it appears a mass execution is on the way.
It may also target key players who have harmed Iran’s internal and national security.
Authorities accuse them of being key players in the planned coup plotted by the Israelis, some Americans, and several Arab countries.
Not much is known about the new security apparatus.
Nor about the possibility of it being breached again by the Israelis.
However, the force referred to is estimated to comprise approximately 4,000 security and intelligence personnel, selected from among a pool of personnel carefully selected under the supervision of the Supreme Leader and his office, Ali Khamenei, and unfiltered compared to other existing agencies.
It’s likely that special Chinese interrogation, monitoring, and surveillance techniques have already been introduced to the new agency.
However, initial reports indicate that death sentences may be issued against approximately 1,400 spies.
Teams have been formed to pursue spies whose existence the authorities have evidence of, but who haven’t yet been arrested.
The Iranian Ministry of Internal Security announced the arrest of approximately 700 citizens and foreigners accused of working with Mossad.
However, the list maintained by the new intelligence agency indicates at least 1,400 individuals who are expected to be arrested within the next few hours, with interrogation teams being prepared and further details being revealed.
