In 3 separated operations: SDF kills 23 Turkish soldiers in northern Syria

The “Syria Democratic Forces” (SDF) announced that it “killed 23 Turkish soldiers in three operations it carried out last Monday”.

The “SDF” added that these operations come “within the framework of the legitimate right of defense and in revenge for the blood of our martyrs”.

The SDF statement added that its forces carried out on the 8th of this month 3 “qualitative and effective” operations targeting the movements of the Turkish occupation army on the borders adjacent to the city of Mardin, as well as its tanks and vehicles that bombarded civilian areas in north and east Syria.

According to the SDF statement, the first operation targeted an armored vehicle of the Turkish army, killing 7 of its soldiers, wounding two soldiers, and destroying the armored vehicle.

In the other two operations, two Turkish armored vehicles were targeted, and 16 soldiers were killed in them.

The SDF began its statement by noting that the Turkish army had escalated its attacks on the areas of northern and eastern Syria through intense artillery shelling and drones, and said that these attacks “led to the martyrdom of a number of civilians as well as our military comrades”.

Since the beginning of this month, 7 civilians have been killed, and 17 others wounded, as a result of the Turkish attacks.

Two days ago, the “SDF” announced the killing of four of its fighters and the wounding of 3 others, in a bombing carried out by a Turkish drone in northern Syria, and vowed to avenge them.
