Hezbollah announced that its fighters repelled an Israeli landing attempt in the Bekaa region in the east of the country, where they targeted at 04:15 (Beirut time) at dawn on Saturday, the evacuation area in the outskirts of the town of Nabi with concentrated rocket launches.

Earlier, a statement by Hezbollah said that at 22:30 on Friday evening, 4 helicopters belonging to the Israeli occupation army infiltrated from the direction of the Syrian border, where they landed an infantry force at the triangle of the towns of Yahfufa, Khurayba and Ma’arboun.

The statement added that “the enemy infantry force advanced towards the eastern neighborhood of the town of Nabi Sheet (al Shukr neighborhood), and upon reaching the cemetery, at 11:30, a group of Islamic resistance mujahideen clashed with it with light and medium weapons”.

The statement pointed out that the clash developed after the exposure of the hostile force, as the Israeli army resorted to carrying out intensive fire belts that included about 40 raids, using warplanes and helicopters in order to secure the withdrawal of the force from the area of engagement.

Meanwhile, Hezbollah’s artillery carried out concentrated firing with appropriate weapons on the vicinity of the area of engagement and along the path of the withdrawal of the enemy force, while the residents of the neighboring villages participated in the fire support.

The Israel Broadcasting Corporation reported that the Israeli army carried out operations in Lebanese territory last night to find the body of Israeli pilot Ron Arad.

In southern Lebanon, Hezbollah targeted a gathering of the Israeli forces in the hill of Hammams and Khallet al Asafir on the southern outskirts of the city of Khiam.
