Hezbollah publishes aerial footage of sensitive Israeli facilities and sites inside.
Hezbollah vowed, on Saturday evening, Israel to launch a war against it “without controls, rules or ceilings, if Israel decides to fight it with Lebanon.
This came in a promotional video by Hezbollah’s Military Media under the title: “To Whom It May Concern”.
The video included excerpts from a previous televised speech by Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah, in which he said, “If war is imposed on Lebanon, the resistance will fight without controls, without rules and without a roof”.
“Whoever thinks of war with us will regret hopefully,” he said, according to the video.
The one-minute and 11-second video also included aerial surveillance of Israeli areas and cities obtained by Hezbollah during a large-scale reconnaissance operation carried out by Hezbollah drones.
According to observers, the reconnaissance images that appeared in the video show vital Israeli military targets, including oil refineries in the city of Haifa, Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv, the port of Ashdod and military bases in the Upper Galilee.
Last Tuesday, Hezbollah announced the implementation of the operation hoopoe by sending a drone that returned with sensitive images from northern Israel, specifically from Haifa.
At the time, Hezbollah published a video that includes a thorough survey of areas in northern Israel filmed by drones, which the party said were able to bypass Israeli air defense and returned without detecting or shooting them down.
In recent weeks, mutual escalation between Tel Aviv and Hezbollah on the Israel-Lebanon border has intensified.
On Tuesday, the Israeli military announced the approval of operational plans for a large-scale attack on Lebanon.
Hezbollah links the cessation of its attacks on Israel to the latter’s end of its war on the Gaza Strip, which began on October 7, 2023.
Hezbollah secretary General, Hassan Nasrallah has warned Israel in a speech on Wednesday, “The threat of war for eight months would not have frightened us, although there are people who evaluate this possibility as serious… As a resistance, we prepared ourselves for the worst days and the enemy knows what awaits him, so he remains a deterrent”.
He added, “The enemy knows that there will be no place in the entity safe from our missiles and drones and not randomly, we have a real and large target bank, and we have the ability to reach these goals in a way that shakes the foundations of the entity,” pointing out that “the enemy also knows that what awaits him in the Mediterranean is very large, and all its coasts, ships and ships will be targeted”.
On the other hand, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant said in response that Hezbollah had started the war, stressing that it was Israel’s duty to change the situation, Israel’s Channel 12 reported.
The two sides exchange threats and warnings, amid international calls for de-escalation and avoid entering into a war that could turn into a wider regional conflict.
Hezbollah asserts that its operations come within the framework of supporting Gaza and creating a front to support it, stressing that the cessation of these operations depends on the cessation of aggression on Gaza.
