Hamas’ Qassam Brigades posts a video for the six Israeli prisoner before there death
The al Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, posted on Monday a video message from an Israeli prisoner who were killed.
The video contained messages from the 6 detained prisoners whose bodies were recovered by the Israeli army last Saturday from a tunnel in the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.
Idan Yerushalmi (24), said in the video that she was arrested from the concert in Re’im on October 7th.
Yerushalmi appealed to the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, “to do everything necessary to release her through an exchange deal”.
She added, “The Israeli government concluded a swap deal with Hamas in 2011 to release the then-captive soldier Gilad Shalit, in exchange for the release of more than 1,000 Palestinian prisoners”.
“Right now they are asking for less than a quarter from each of us, so am I worth less?” Broshlami asked.
She also wondered about “why she was in captivity, under constant bombardment and fear of death,” demanding “to return to her home and family”.
Last Sunday, the Israeli army announced that they recovered bodies of 6 detainees after they were found inside a tunnel in the Gaza Strip, confirming that their identities have been determined.
For its part, Hamas announced that, “the prisoners were killed by the occupation’s ongoing bombing of the Gaza Strip”.
“The six bodies were found in a tunnel in the Rafah area in the southern Gaza Strip, where the occupation forces have been conducting a ground operation for months,” said Israeli army spokesman Daniel Hagari.
Hamas held Israel and the US administration that supports it responsible for the killing of the prisoners.
