Hamas confirms it willingness to accept a deal with Israel to end the war as the Israeli massacres continues in Gaza
A Hamas official announced Saturday that they are ready for a deal to end the war in the Gaza Strip, including the release of all remaining hostages in one go and a five-year truce.
Hamas leader Taher al Nunu told Agence France-Presse on Friday that a Hamas delegation will meet with Egyptian mediators in Cairo on Saturday to hold talks on a ceasefire in Gaza, adding, “Hamas is ready for a one-time prisoner swap and a five-year truce”.
He said, “The Hamas negotiating delegation, headed by Khalil al Hayya, has headed to Cairo, where it will meet with Egyptian officials to discuss Hamas’s vision for ending the war”.
He stressed that the weapons of Hamas and the resistance aren’t up for negotiation and will remain in our hands as long as the occupation of Palestinian land continues.
On the other hand, in Gaza, 15 were killed and others injured in sporadic Israeli shelling of the Gaza Strip early Saturday morning.
The 15 Palestinians were killed in separate shelling attacks, including 10 in a house south of Gaza City.
Eyewitnesses said that the Israeli army bombed a home in the al Sabra neighborhood in southern Gaza City, killing 10 of its residents, according to medical sources.
The Civil Defense in Gaza said in a statement that a large number of missing persons remain under the rubble of the destroyed home.
Early Saturday morning, three Palestinians were killed and others injured in an Israeli airstrike targeting the Shati refugee camp, west of Gaza City.
Meanwhile, displacement camps were bombed in the southern Gaza Strip, and in northern Gaza Strip, a medical source said that two Palestinians were killed and others were injured in shelling that targeted the vicinity of the Education Roundabout in the city of Beit Lahia.
Israeli artillery shelled various areas of the Gaza Strip, especially the eastern areas of Gaza City and western Rafah.
