Haaretz: Netanyahu is disconnected from reality and stupidly conducting the war
The left-wing Israeli newspaper, Haaretz launched an attack on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
The left-wing Israeli newspaper described Netanyahu, as “stupid,” adding that this description comes as an addition to other characteristics that he is “weak, a liar, a coward, a panicked and selfish person, and cannot make decisions”.
Haaretz said that Netanyahu didn’t understand that without a political solution to the conflict, Israel was doomed to attacks that could end very badly.
Haaretz pointed out that Netanyahu is so disconnected from reality that a moment before October 7, 2023, he said that Israel’s international situation is excellent and that we are on the verge of achieving peace with most Arab countries, including Saudi Arabia, without addressing the Palestinian problem at all.
Haaretz also pointed out that the height of Netanyahu’s stupidity was his belief that he could buy Hamas with money, without realizing that it was an Islamic organization that wanted to destroy Israel.
“Imagine what would have happened if Hezbollah had also attacked on October 7, then Netanyahu wouldn’t have defended the north, as actually happened on the border with Gaza… All this, and we haven’t yet talked about if Iran, Yemen, Syria, and Iraq joined the October 7 attack at once,” Haaretz said.
Haaretz added, “Netanyahu spoke years ago that Israel is a great regional power, but days after the outbreak of the war, he asked the United States to bring aircraft carriers to the region and requested weapons, ammunition, and missiles. Can you imagine what would happen if the US president rejected the request?”
Haaretz stressed that Netanyahu is conducting the war stupidly.
Instead of a lightning war in the Gaza Strip, the war has extended to its sixth month, stressing that he is leading Israel towards a strategic defeat in front of a small organization, even though he is fully aware that the more time passes, the more International resentment will increase against Israel.
Haaretz concluded that, instead of leading Israel toward absolute victory, Netanyahu is now leading it toward absolute defeat; He has failed to achieve any of the goals of the war, as he didn’t eliminate Hamas or return the Israeli prisoners in the Gaza Strip.
