Haaretz newspaper said that, the Israeli prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu isn’t a prisoner in the hands of the Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben Gvir, and isn’t afraid of him or dependent on him… This is a wrong and very common perception.

Haaretz added, “Ben Gvir doesn’t have another government, either now or in the future, and if he withdraws from the coalition, the factions of the Israeli war cabinet member, Benny Gantz, and also Gideon Sa’ar will keep him as he is, and even the head of the Israeli opposition, Yair Lapid, said that he would be happy to fill his shoes”.

According to Haaretz, “Netanyahu is implementing Ben Gvir’s policy because this is what he himself wants now: a comprehensive, multi-front war, until absolute victory will never be achieved”.

The Israeli leftist newspaper also pointed out that Netanyahu was known in the past for his caution on the military level and his fear of losses, and this has changed dramatically, and his public standing has been destroyed and his base has shrunk to include his followers and the Haredim who don’t participate in wars in the first place, and religious nationalists who consider the sacrifices of soldiers and kidnapped civilians great.

As for Netanyahu’s supporters, they blame is on the left.

For this reason, Netanyahu is prepared to set fire to the Temple Mount (al Aqsa Mosque) during the month of Ramadan, and ignite a Palestinian “intifada”.

This isn’t the exclusive agenda of Ben Gvir and Smotrich, but rather it is Netanyahu’s plan as well,” according to Haaretz newspaper.

Meanwhile, the security establishment is convinced that the Netanyahu-Ben Gvir government will lead Israel to a comprehensive conflagration, and here, the senior military and the General Security Service “Shin Bet” and police officers are content with expressing objections and warnings and urging early preparation for a disaster.

Haaretz continued, “They are betraying their duty and abandoning Israel’s security; They must hit the table, and when necessary, reject orders and use their bodies to prevent Israel and the entire region from lighting a fire on the altar of the mentally ill government that it has hijacked”.

Haaretz concluded by saying that Israel has become isolated and turbulent in the Middle East, and resembles the Western view of North Korea.

A few days ago, members of the Israeli war cabinet, Benny Gantz and Gadi Eisenkot, Prime Minister of the Israeli occupation government, Benjamin Netanyahu, threatened to dismantle the war cabinet.
