Four US soldiers killed in Manbij, northern Syria

A source told “RT” that 4 US soldiers were killed in a suicide bombing on Wednesday targeted troops of the international coalition against “ISIS” led by the United States in the northern city of Manbij.

The correspondent of “RT” in Syria, that the bombing took place in front of the restaurant “Kasr Al Omara” in the market of Manbij, killing 10 people, the source was quoted as saying that including four US soldiers.

The reporter said that a group of US military was in the scene of the bombing, and were transported directly from the area by helicopter, while speaking on the social media websites of the presence of elements of French troops at the site during the attack.

For their part, the Islamic State organization, announced their responsibility of this suicide attack.

Local sources said that an explosion occurred near a popular market in Manbij north of Aleppo, Syria when the leaders of the city’s military council and members of an unknown delegation in the “Kasr Al Omara” restaurant.

The military junta in Manbij confirmed that the explosion occurred next to a patrol of the US-led international coalition that was roaming the city.
