Former Israeli Minister Avigdor Lieberman blames Netanyahu: We’ve never been so outcast… neither in the world nor in the United States
Former Israeli Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman on Tuesday attacked Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, saying that Israel has never been so ostracized, neither in the world nor in the United States.
Israel Beiteinu Party leader, who also previously served as finance minister, made the remarks during a conference at Israel’s Reichman University.
Lieberman began his speech by referring to Israel’s political, security and international situation, and its relations with the United States.
“The security establishment and the political establishment are leading us to a catastrophe… We’re heading towards a political catastrophe that is no less serious than the security disaster that occurred on October 7, 2023”.
Lieberman went on to say, “We’ve never been so outcast, neither in the world nor in the United States”.
“For the first time since 1967, our situation has become worse than that of the Palestinians… Netanyahu has abandoned the bipartisan balance policy in the United States,” Lieberman added.
“In fact, we have lost our political independence, and Netanyahu has become hostage to American policy. Netanyahu has become a poodle in Trump’s hands, we aren’t independent in anything,” he said.
