The collection of weapons previously owned by the private sector in order to support the Ukrainian Armed Forces continues.

Recently, eight 122 mm Gvozdika self-propelled guns and one 2S3 Akatsia 152 mm self-propelled gun were seen in Germany, transported using heavy trailers.

According to the Tankodrome channel on Telegram, these combat vehicles painted in desert camouflage were previously part of the Iraqi army during the era of Saddam Hussein, which means they were used in battles during the war with Iran.

These weapons were confiscated by coalition forces and ended up in a British company, where they were used for recreational purposes, such as driving armored vehicles and participating in military-themed events.

It’s worth noting that these self-propelled guns haven’t been dismantled, which makes them fit for use as combat equipment, although they may need some maintenance and repairs.

Recently, Ukrainian forces have lost modern self-propelled guns on a daily basis as well as old Soviet guns manufactured in the 70s and 80s, such as Gvozdika and Akatsia.
