Following his president for the second time… US Defense Secretary has covid again!
On Monday, the US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin announced that he is self-isolating at his home, after he tested positive for the Coronavirus for the second time.
Austin, who said his symptoms are mild, plans to self-isolate for five days in accordance with health guidelines in force in the United States.
“I will retain all authority and intend to continue my normal program of work virtually from home,” Austin said.
He added that the last face-to-face contact with US President Joe Biden was late last month.
Austin, who received two boosters, had previously contracted covid-19 in January.
